Tigers Feet - Escape the ordinary!

Tigers Feet aims to offer advice and a wider insight into India - a little more than the Taj Mahal and where to eat.
We want to celebrate the vibrancy and beauty, expose the chaos and flaws.
We don't want to preach and welcome comments & contributions from anyone who loves or hates India - back packers, business travellers, regular visitors, volunteers and NRI's (Non Residential Indians) - anyone doing, or thinking of doing, business in India and individuals considering package tours - even medical tourists.
Site contributors were generally born, educated and live in India. Of the non-Indian contributors, experience is high; both in business and travel. We invite comments and dissent where facts are wrong or opinions grate with readers.
We all love India here but are fully aware of the contrasts, the twin speed economy, the vibrancy and variation in this large, populous and beautiful part of the world. If you are planning a holiday, to work, study or do business in India you have found the right site. The map to the left offers some basic data on each state, the links hopefully add detail to pertinent subjects.
If you can't find what you want here directly or via links - ask. We don't promise a full or direct answer but will pick interesting items and develop in suggested directions. We won't discuss individual hotels or destinations as it would be hard to beat Lonely Planet and similar guides. Similarly individual companies and organisations you may have dealt with in business will not be discussed unless very specific to context.
